Modern Slavery and Ethical Sourcing Statement
This statement is made voluntarily by Three 17 Limited ('Three17', 'we', 'us', or 'our'), an English company (CRN 12106567), trading as EducatedOn. It is published pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps we take to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking do not occur in our business or supply chain.
1. About Us
Three 17 Limited is a technology company based in Bristol, United Kingdom. We develop and operate EducatedOn, an AI-powered learning content platform for apprenticeship training providers. We employ 4 people and our annual turnover is below the £36 million threshold that triggers mandatory reporting under the Act. We choose to publish this statement voluntarily as part of our commitment to ethical and responsible business practices.
2. Our Supply Chain
As a software company, our supply chain primarily comprises:
- Cloud infrastructure and hosting providers (Microsoft Azure, Umbraco)
- Software development tools and services
- Office facilities and business services
- Professional services (legal, accounting)
The nature of our supply chain means the risk of modern slavery is relatively low. Our primary suppliers are major technology companies with their own published modern slavery statements and due diligence processes.
3. Our Policies and Due Diligence
We have the following measures in place to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking:
- Whistleblowing Policy: Provides a mechanism for employees and stakeholders to report concerns about unethical conduct, including modern slavery, without fear of retaliation.
- Supplier due diligence: We review the modern slavery statements and policies of key suppliers, including as part of our supplier onboarding process.
- Fair employment practices: All workers in our company and any subcontractors are paid at least the National Living Wage and are treated fairly, with appropriate working conditions, reasonable working hours, and respect for their rights.
- Training: All employees receive awareness training on modern slavery and human trafficking as part of our annual compliance training programme.
4. Monitoring and Review
Compliance with this statement is monitored through annual review by the Managing Director, periodic review of supplier compliance, our whistleblowing mechanism, and ongoing awareness among our team.
5. Reporting Concerns
Anyone who suspects that modern slavery or human trafficking may be occurring in our business or supply chain should report their concerns immediately by contacting Michael Sims, Managing Director, at info@educatedon.com.
6. Statement Approval
This statement was approved by Michael Sims, Managing Director, in July 2026 and is reviewed annually.
