Accessibility Statement
At EducatedOn, we are dedicated to providing a digitally accessible experience for individuals of all abilities. We continually work to enhance accessibility and usability for every user, following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 with the aim of meeting AA level compliance. Our goal is to ensure our services are inclusive, intuitive, and beneficial for everyone.
We recognise that accessibility is an ongoing process and that WCAG standards evolve over time. Therefore, we are committed not only to meeting existing standards but also to proactively adopting new practices as accessibility guidelines advance. Through this commitment, we strive to maintain a platform that remains accessible, equitable, and supportive for all users.
Our Assessment Approach
EducatedOn regularly evaluates the accessibility of its platform using the following methods:
- Internal review: Routine internal audits and assessments to ensure ongoing adherence to accessibility best practices.
- Quality assurance: Accessibility is reviewed and tested during all UI updates using standardised checklists and tools such as WAVE to validate compliance.
Current Compliance
We are proud that our platform complies with WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards within our learner-facing interface.
We are committed to continually monitoring and enhancing accessibility across our platform. While minor issues may occasionally occur, we resolve them promptly to uphold our high standards.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) provide internationally recognised criteria for improving digital accessibility. These guidelines define three compliance levels: A, AA, and AAA. The primary learner interface within EducatedOn is compliant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, ensuring our essential features meet the standards required for an inclusive and accessible experience.
We acknowledge that a few minor accessibility issues remain in less frequently used areas of our system. These do not affect the main user experience, and we are actively working to resolve them as part of our ongoing accessibility improvements.
Please note that the use of our EducatedOn within a SCORM package may impact accessibility/usability as a result of the Learner Management System (LMS) and its method of rendering SCORM content. This is beyond our control.
Browser and Assistive Technology Compatibility
EducatedOn is designed to work effectively with leading assistive technologies and current versions of major browsers.
For the best experience, we recommend using Google Chrome, Apple Safari or Mozilla Firefox. Different screen readers are optimised for different browsers, so users should select the combination that best fits their needs.
Third-Party Content
EducatedOn customers may upload their own documents and eLearning resources to the platform. Customers are responsible for ensuring the accessibility of any content they upload.
